@_Omalicha_nwa@Muhammad_NGR How I wish someone among Northern celebrities have done the same for the children that are still missing instead of backing Daura Rara. Davido was never wrong for crying out his heart, then let someone from blinded eyes whom prefer taliya da sabulu (most of Northerners)
Almost 4 months passed and not a single day pass without people talking about him, this is something money cannot buy!
They have tried to paint a narrative but the people stood their ground.
The most honest politician of our time!
Exactly 33 years ago, we lost a father, a sage and a leader, Sheikh Abubakar Gumi to the cold but inevitable hands of death. I was four years old when he passed. Despite being family friends with his children and grand children, I could not recall a lot at a young age. However, while growing up, I made it a point to study his teachings, preachings and way of life. He embodied tolerance, simplicity and compassion and as a result, I pray for him till this very day. Amongst his many good deeds, his effort to translate the Holy Quran to Hausa language in order for the common man and women to better understand our beautiful religion and the rights provided to them is what stands out the most for me. Three decades later, we pray that Allah SWT continues to bless his memory and elevate his soul to Aljannatul Firdausi. Leaders like him, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sheikh Muhammad Auwal Albani Zaria, Abubakar Tafa Balewa, Obafemi Awolowo, Dr. Dora Akunliyi, Sheikh Jafar Mahmud Adam, President Buhari, Babatunde Fashola, Michael Okpara, Audu Bako and many others continue to be a personal inspiration to me as a public servant. On behalf of the people of Kaduna North that I humbly represent, I beg you to pray for the soul of our father Sheikh Abubakar Gummi today.

Today, we celebrate the energy, innovation and resilience of our young people. This year’s International Youth Day theme: ‘Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond’, highlights the unique role of youths in translating global ambitions into community driven realities. In Kaduna North, we are intentional about turning these ambitions into tangible results. Through targeted job creation initiatives and skill acquisition programmes, we are equipping youths with the tools to become not just job seekers, but job creators and community leaders. Together, we will continue to build a Kaduna North where our youth have the opportunities, skills and confidence to drive progress for beyond today. Happy International Youth Day to every young Nigerian!

In the name of Allah SWT, the most Beneficient, the most Merciful. In a view minutes, my team will finalise the distribution of food items to individuals in Kaduna North. This is with the assistance of NEMA and I am eternally grateful to the DG and her excellent team. For the sake of transparency, the first phase will be done to political stakeholders including my CWC Members and Ward leaders. The next phases will be directly to vulnerable citizens, PWDs, widows and such regardless of religious affiliation and political leaning. I will continue to provide the update as usual. Grateful to my Counsellors, especially Hon. Hussaini Zubairu, Nuhu Sani Lere, Yusuf Gambo Imam (Fofana) and my every reliable Principal Secretary, Al Amin Yakubu. Please bare with us as we do our best.
Remarks at Mariam Academy Kaduna, Badarawa. And the announcement of the Mohammed Bawa ABG Scholarship Fund to the school. The video contains my full speech to the parents and students of the school. Thank you.
