@gauravsabnis this! I have started asking 'so what' to any such kind of history/culture type declarations. The marathi phrase 'बरं मग, मी काय करू?' is a quick way to indicate my disinterest in engaging in that narrative.

@Schandillia Fantastic thread! I grew up in Chapekar brothers' home town. There's a landmark statue of one of them (hand outstretched holding a gun!), in the old town center. Grew up thinking of him as a hero!
