Marc Andreessen wrote in 2007 that a startup puts you on "an emotional rollercoaster unlike anything you have ever experienced."
I'd rather know that going in. Expect the swings, plan for them, and never make big decisions at the bottom.
Both are true to some extent. I believe you can still build wealthโand itโs more accessible now. AI is a tool to express creativity, but markets are getting crowded, which makes selling harder.
The most underrated AI skill isn't prompting. It's knowing what you actually want before you ask.
Vague question, vague answer. Clear goal, constraints and an example, and AI becomes a real collaborator.
Just watched @starter_story โ a woman pulling in $350k/month from an affirmation app.
My first thought: WTF. Iโd never pay for it, but that doesnโt mean others wonโt.
Iโve noticed sellers make or break huge wins:
- @marclou for shipfast (10+ apps, lifestyle push on YT)
- @robj3d3 for SuperX (huge X reach).
"I don't have a GPU" is officially dead ๐คฏ
You can now run 70B model on a single 4GB GPU and it even scales up to the colossal Llama 3.1 405B on just 8GB of VRAM.
AirLLM uses "Layer-wise Inference." Instead of loading the whole model, it loads, computes, and flushes one layer at a time
โ No quantization needed by default
โ Supports Llama, Qwen, and Mistral
โ Works on Linux, Windows, and macOS
100% Open Source.
@tarasshyn I have one large task that requires many iterations of improvements and has self-validation in the loop, and it's enough to exhaust my weekly limit in just three days.
