@LittaHunt Came across this the other day - a box cup!

[Litta Hunters @LittaHunters]

Boxed Water Is Better has a mission to fulfill the need for packaged water in a more environmentally-friendly way. By carefully choosing their filling locations they reach more areas with a minimal carbon footprint. The cartons are made of paper from sustainably managed forests.

Latest figures available show that UK households produced just under 27 million tonnes of waste in 2017. That's equivalent to 409 kg per person - roughly the weight of four adult giant pandas. It's mostly made up of food scraps, newspapers, cardboard, glass bottles and plastics.

[Andrew A @asph4x]

@LittaHunt I thought it would be more actually! I wonder how it compares between countries.

[Andrew A @asph4x]

Great work Martin!

[Martin Collings @CharopyHQ]

Charopy just won! Great recognition of our technology.

Data on the most commonly-found types of litter was recorded as part of Keep Britain Tidy's 'Litter in England' survey. The three most common types of litter were smoking related, confectionery packets, and non-alcoholic drinks related.

I think we are not sufficiently creative in imagining what alien life forms could look like.

#WorldLizardDay and #ThreatenedSpecies Day may have passed, but it didn't stop us launching a highly innovative awareness campaign in the form of an interactive game today with the students at @Eastwood_PS, with this species being one of the 15 highlighted.

"EY is now calling for Australia to consider improving how recyclables are sorted before they are collected." 100% agree, but not convinced that putting the cost onto ratepayers via more sorting at kerbside is the answer.

@Charopyhq was mentioned in NSW Parliament. #recycling #plasticpollution #environment

[Martin Collings @CharopyHQ]

Positive statement from @VictorDominello in NSW Parliament yesterday on bringing innovation to @NSWGovCDS and getting more children #recycling through schools, just as one of his local schools @Eastwood_PS are doing @nswppa @NSWPandCFed @Matt_KeanMP https://t.co/r0HVLIgTUN

[Martin Collings @CharopyHQ]

Good to be swimming in the same direction as the global current by building tech to make these schemes have a bigger impact in schools.

[Martin Collings @CharopyHQ]

Great story on @9NewsSyd tonight about @Eastwood_PS from @DaltsWorld and thanks to @KateCreedon9 for originally seeing the potential. Schools are more than doubling the adoption and frequency of @NSWGovCDS. https://t.co/AwIMPKF3fQ @NSWEducation @mscott @TCreenaune @Matt_KeanMP

Best story of the day: a school kid was sick but wanted to go to school to return recycling containers 🙇♻️🌏 #recycling #plasticpollution @CharopyHQ
