Unpopular opinion: most "AI agents" shipped in 2026 are a streamText() call in a trench coat. We got tired of ours politely vomiting 50k rows of JSON into its own context, so we gave it bash, a filesystem, and a renderer. Turns out competence scales better than prompt length.

@altryne @bolt @Replit @cline @roocode @tailwindcss I found that VS Code with Github Copilot Agent mode + gpt4.1 Preview works quite well. But for tailwind (esp v4) I added context7 MCP so it has most up to date docu. Could you try that setup to compare?
