Throwback to the TCT Shanghai trade show, where we showed the first Inconel 718 test print of the Noyron XRA-2E5 aerospike, manufactured by @HBD_Technology. Real-world production feedback forms an essential layer in Noyron’s engineering logic, grounding it in reality.

Notwithstanding the audience's love for comparisons, Aspire delivers a more agile vision. We see the space economy as a positive-sum game, one that requires expanding launch access for everyone by pairing this with full reusability.
Also, since the interview, Oryx has moved to its next iteration with a structural rework that reduces dry mass and expands overall capability. The newly designated R1v5 rocket will drive a 5 t payload to LEO in a fully reusable configuration, 15 t with booster recovery, and up to 17 t without it. The D3 Cargo Spaceship now features a 2 t return capacity to Earth.

As we prepare for the next test season with updated hardware, we are combing through all our old footage and data. We tested this 20 kN MethaLOX Aerospike rocket engine designed by Noyron in December. The next one will have a custom ignition system.
We may have gotten a bit too close to the exhaust, but another successful hot-fire. 6 kN kerolox thruster printed from Inconel 718. Generated by Noyron. No humans were harmed in the design process (no CAD) or during the hot-fire (safe in the bunker).
Noyron builds machines. In this case a WIP oxygen pump/gas generator assembly for an open cycle methalox rocket engine. Engineered from first principles physics, logic, and manufacturing constraints without human intervention.
Noyron ❤️ turbopumps. Continuing to extend our Large Computational Engineering Model’s capabilities to generate high-performance turbomachinery, here is the LOX side. WIP.

Our 200 kN Aerospike rocket engine showcased at the @aspirespaceuae booth at @miiteuae trade show in Abu Dhabi this week. This engine burning cryogenic methane and liquid oxygen will power the upper stage of the Aspire Oryx fully reusable rocket ship.
This 200 kN (20 tons thrust) Aerospike rocket engine, created for the fully reusable upper stage of the @aspirespaceuae launcher, will be shown at the @MIITEUAE exhibition in Abu Dhabi next week. Aerospikes are the holy grail of rocketry.
