During our warm and productive exchange, we discussed the evolving regional situation and reaffirmed our shared commitment to supporting all ongoing efforts aimed at securing lasting peace and stability in the region.

I am pleased to share a great news that the Government of Iran has agreed to allow 20 more ships under the Pakistani flag to pass through the Strait of Hormuz; two ships will cross the Strait daily.

This is a welcome and constructive gesture by Iran and deserves appreciation. It is a harbinger of peace and will help usher stability in the region.

This positive announcement marks a meaningful step toward peace and will strengthen our collective efforts in that direction.

Dialogue, diplomacy, and such confidence-building measures are the only way forward.

غلط معلومات اور پروپیگنڈا کو اب بغیر جواب کے نہیں چھوڑا جائے گا۔ جو لوگ یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ وہ اداروں کو بدنام کر کے اور عوام کو گمراہ کر کے بغیر کسی نتیجے کے بچ نکلیں گے، وہ قانون کا سامنا کرنے کے لیے تیار رہیں۔
پنجاب حکومت قانون کے تحت زیادہ سے زیادہ سزا کے حصول کے لیے قانونی چارہ جوئی کرے گی تاکہ ایک واضح اور دوٹوک پیغام دیا جا سکے کہ جعلی خبریں صحافت نہیں ہوتیں، یہ صریح بہتان اور ہتکِ عزت ہے۔
مسلسل جھوٹ پھیلانے والے عناصر کو ہرگز برداشت نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ اب بہت ہو چکا۔

A deliberate malicious campaign of lies and fabricated stories about the use of the official plane of Punjab Government is being run by known pathological liars and peddlers of fake news. The Punjab Government has decided to move the courts under the Defamation Law 2024 against every individual and platform involved.

Disinformation will no longer go unanswered. Those who think they can malign institutions and mislead the public without consequence should prepare to face the law.
Punjab Government will be seek recourse to the maximum penalty under the law to ensure a clear and unequivocal message, fake news is not journalism. It is defamation. Pathological lying lunatics will not be tolerated, Enough is Enough !
