@myamazingreview@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 I think from all my earlier examples, we've gone over that he really wasn't that crazy this chapter outside of the one time where he was out of character at the front door scene. And I don't think that necessarily mean he couldn't have ask them to get Carol
@myamazingreview@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 Toriel has been shown to be willing to chew him out more than he has throughout his entire existence as a character. If you or the story wants me to believe this, they have to actually set it up, and it can't just be vague like this.
@myamazingreview@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 We never see him engage in anything extreme in this chapter. So I couldn't in good faith just blindly believe these things were the same without any proof it just goes against what we know about him in deltarune and undertale. He knows how to keep his cool.
@myamazingreview@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 That loops back around to why not just show people the dark world , because then they wouldn't know that some things going on. They Wouldn't be in danger, because as soon as they show them, they could just leave through the portal.
@Bingus_Artworks@myamazingreview@TemmieOrSmth99 There is literally nothing that supports that theory. He's there because he's trying to fight the kight. and my best guess he doesn't want them to be there when it happens. Why Doesn't he just tell them that Instead of yelling at them?
@Bingus_Artworks@myamazingreview@TemmieOrSmth99 Does he ever say that in game? On top of that, he was willing to tell Carol about this whole thing. So no, he wasn't just gonna do it alone.
@Bingus_Artworks@myamazingreview@TemmieOrSmth99 Dude You might be the one who can't read. I am saying, why doesn't he explain to them why they can't go back instead of just yelling at them to leave like a child?
@Bingus_Artworks@myamazingreview@TemmieOrSmth99 Why didn't he just tell him immediately to take him there? There is literally no scene in the game where flowery disobeys his orders when he asks him to go to the fountain.
@myamazingreview@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 And the way he's characterized in that scene at the door is weird. If he wasn't willing to tell them to get people so he could prove to them. that this place was real. Why didn't he just explain why he didn't want them there? (Do not use info he doesn't know as an excuse please)
@myamazingreview@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 He didn't even know they were still there. He told them to leave, he did everything he could have reasonably done. That was all flowery's fault for not telling him they literally tell us that. Like I said, this story contradicts itself asgore did the his best, from what he knew.
@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 I just want an explanation of why any of my suggestions don't work.
And that starts with knowing what asgore contributes to the plot outside of just creating them.
@myamazingreview@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 I am not saying they don't show us things that try to clarify he's neglecting them, but it contradicts what we actually see him do in the chapter.
@myamazingreview@Bingus_Artworks@TemmieOrSmth99 He starts the chapter hanging out with flowery doing nothing. he was willing to stop doing things to hang out with them in the hang out with "the boys" scene. When he was finally done with all that , he just asked flower to take him to the dark fountain, and that was it for him.
