On Mon, I spoke in a debate on firework regulation, triggered by my constituent, Alan Smith's petition. Alan started the petition after his mum, Josephine, was killed in a Harold Wood house fire - caused by lit fireworks deliberately pushed through her door.
Alan and I will be meeting the Minister in the NY to talk about his campaign to get balance right - enjoying fireworks while keeping people safe.
