@redrackem Wasn't aware of those facts but fits the brief I guess. So £ which could offer distributed artists a better cut is channelled into brand development & promotion, ultimately serving Spotify more than its 'supported' artists...
So sorry for all the people who've lost their music with Spotify going down. Instead paying £12 a month to rent artists music which they don't receive a penny for - you might think about buying an actual record or download which will sound 1000 times better and you own it too.
@redrackem Yo. Its true & as someone directly associated with a publishing label I've struggled with the decision to bypass Spotify in the interest of integrity for the artists. A Spotify's artist remit is classic 'fat controller' practice & sucks the big one!
