25 years ago today, STS-106 launched to prepare the @Space_Station for long-duration occupation.
The crew moved about 3 tons of hardware and supplies to the station, including this treadmill!

Hey @Space_Lectures I will be in London in October for a week. Any suggestions or ideas on what to do or see? My only time there was to talk to your group. Thanks!

@skinnyb0b Hi, not sure. Often there are reflections of something inside or outside the cabin. The windows are multi panes and create multiple reflections. I checked originals, those marks appear on many photos and seem related to (or reflection of) the external light in the pic.
We had great fun interviewing Astronaut Rick Mastracchio on The BIG Sci-Fi Podcast! We covered a lot of sci-fi and real-world stuff, too.

@TJBreen @Santini35 @meghanbard@BigLarryBabyArm True. It was played as a wake up song on STS106. Then again when I came to the homecoming football game in 2001.

Before I left NASA the first ascent/entry suit for Orion was being fitted for me. Luckily the engineer building it (Dustin) is the same size so now its his. Yes, that orange suit fits me.
#Artemis1 I rode 2 of the 4 engines to orbit, several segments of the solids and even the Orion main engine that will provide thrust in lunar orbit. I might as well be in the cockpit.
Why do #space missions bringing mascots, like #babyyoda, with them. For luck? For fun? Or is there a real reason? Find out in our latest #AskAScientist video with @AstroRM Rick Mastracchio and screenwriter @stapleswill.
Hey @Toyota I've done many difficult things. I've launched on 3 Shuttles and a Russian Soyuz, I've done 9 spacewalks and lived in space for 6 months. My 2006 Tundra was with me the whole way. But I cant find a 2022 Platinum Tundra Hybrid! Is there any way to get some help?
