There is a process that I have used, and still use, to reignite life...
Create two timelines—6 months and 12 months—and list up to five things you dream of having (including, but not limited to, material wants: house, car, clothing, etc.), being (be a great cook, be fluent in Chinese, etc.), and doing (visiting Thailand, tracing your roots overseas, racing ostriches, etc.) in that order.
If you have difficulty identifying what you want in some categories, as most will, consider what you hate or fear in each and write down the opposite.
Do not limit yourself, and do not concern yourself with how these things will be accomplished. For now, it’s unimportant. This is an exercise in reversing repression.
Be sure not to judge or fool yourself. If you really want a Ferrari, don’t put down solving world hunger out of guilt. For some, the dream will be fame, for others fortune or prestige. All people have their vices and insecurities. If something will improve your feeling of self-worth, put it down.
Drawing a blank? In that case, consider these questions:
1) What would you do, day to day, if you had $100 million in the bank?
2) What would make you most excited to wake up in the morning to another day?
Don’t rush—think about it for a few minutes.
If still blocked, fill in the five “doing” spots with the following:
— one place to visit
— one thing to do before you die (a memory of a lifetime)
— one thing to do daily
— one thing to do weekly
— one thing you’ve always wanted to learn
What does “being” entail doing?
Convert each “being” into a “doing” to make it actionable. Identify an action that would characterize this state of being or a task that would mean you had achieved it. People find it easier to brainstorm “being” first, but this column is just a temporary holding spot for “doing” actions.
Here are a few examples:
1) Great cook —> make Christmas dinner without help
2) Fluent in Chinese —> have a five-minute conversation with a Chinese co-worker
Determine three steps for each of the dreams in just the 6-month timeline and take the first step now.
Define three steps for each dream that will get you closer to its actualization.
Set actions—simple, well-defined actions—for now, tomorrow (complete before 11 A.M.) and the day after (again completed before 11 A.M.). Once you have three steps for each of the four goals, complete the three actions in the “now” column.
Do it now. Each should be simple enough to do in five minutes or less. If not, rachet it down. If it’s the middle of the night and you can’t call someone, do something else now, such as send an e-mail, and set the call for first thing tomorrow.
If the next stage is some form of research, get in touch with someone who knows the answer instead of spending too much time in books or online, which can turn into paralysis by analysis.
The best first step, the one I recommend, is finding someone who’s done it and ask for advice on how to do the same.

i'm obsessed with what's happening in AI reforestation right now
this Franco-Brazilian startup called MORFO took a patch of land in Brazil that was rock-hard and compacted from years of cattle farming. they replanted it using a single drone. months later the ground was covered in grass, bushes, and small trees. the land came back to life.
here's how the whole thing works.
1. drones scan the terrain with high-resolution cameras and sensors
2. AI analyzes the imagery alongside soil samples, moisture levels, slope, and surrounding vegetation
3. the system picks from a catalog of 300+ native species, deciding exactly which plants will thrive in which specific spot
4. the drone fires biodegradable seed pods packed with seeds, nutrients, and moisture at 180 capsules per minute
5. satellite and drone imagery monitors regrowth over time, with AI tracking vegetation cover and biodiversity
6. two people and one drone cover 50 hectares a day. a person planting by hand manages about one hectare.
and MORFO isn't alone. AirSeed in Australia drops 250,000 seed pods per day into bushfire-scarred koala habitat, replanting swamp mahogany that koalas depend on to survive. Flash Forest in Canada fires 50,000 pods daily into wildfire-destroyed boreal forest, planning the replanting alongside Cree Indigenous communities. re-green won Prince William's Earthshot Prize after planting 6 million seedlings across 30,000 hectares of Amazon and Atlantic Forest.

Here’s exactly what he bought.
Leopold Aschenbrenner got fired from OpenAI in April 2024.
He spent the next few months writing a 165-page thesis predicting AGI by 2027.
Then he launched a fund and put his money where his thesis was.
He bought zero Nvidia. Zero Microsoft. Zero Google. Zero Amazon.
He bought what AI actually runs on.
Bloom Energy (BE), power infrastructure for data centers. Up 1,422% in one year.
Lumentum (LITE), optical components that move data between chips. Up 1,331%.
Sandisk (SNDK), storage. Up 3,130%.
CoreWeave (CRWV), GPU cloud infrastructure. Up 166%.
Iris Energy (IREN), AI computing and data centers. Up 583%.
The thesis was simple: every AI company needs energy, bandwidth, storage, and compute.
Nobody was buying those. Everyone was buying the AI companies themselves.
He was right.

Goldman Sachs just unveiled their Optical Communications industry map for the AI infrastructure buildout. The full ecosystem laid out – IC Design, Materials, Optical Components, Packaging and Testing.
Guess what? $SIVE is not on the map, yet.
The highlights from Goldman:
TAM growing from $15B to $154B. Scale-up optical interconnects within racks and super-nodes are the real driver. NVIDIA’s GPU clusters jumping from 72 to 576 GPUs by 2027-2028, with interconnect dollar value per computing unit going from $315K to $9.4B. A 29x increase per unit.
Silicon photonics penetration jumping from 6% in Q1 2024 to 46% by Q4 2028. CPO commercialization starting in 2026. The shift from copper to optical is structural and accelerating.
In the laser/light source segment, Goldman maps $LITE, $COHR, $AVGO, $AAOI – the obvious ones. Sivers is nowhere to be seen.
$SIVE powers Jabil’s 1.6T LRO architecture. Win Semi is their confirmed foundry partner. They sit upstream of the entire optical interconnect stack with InP lasers everyone needs.
When Goldman publishes the next iteration of this map, $SIVE will most likely be listed on the US Nasdaq and big enough for institutional coverage. Which means institutions will try to shake the ground just so they can catch up.
This report is extremely bullish for the entire photonics ecosystem.
Being early pays. Having conviction pays even more.

Bloom Energy just reported Q1 2026 earnings and the stock is up nearly 10% in after hours right now.
And the man with the most to gain is a 24 year old who got fired from OpenAI.
Leopold Aschenbrenner ran safety research at OpenAI until the company let him go.
He then wrote a 165-page essay arguing that AGI was arriving faster than any investor understood and that the people who would win were not the ones who owned the best AI model.
They were the ones who owned the electricity and that thesis became a hedge fund called Situational Awareness LP and he turned $225 million into $5.5 billion in under twelve months.
His largest single position is an $875 million stake in Bloom Energy and with tonight's 10% move, that position is now worth more than $2.2 billion and still climbing.
The catalyst is obvious in hindsight but almost no one saw it coming.
Bloom announced a 2.8 gigawatt fuel cell deal with Oracle, the largest on site power commitment in the history of enterprise computing.
Bloom delivered in 55 days against a 90-day commitment, Oracle gave Bloom a warrant for 3.53 million shares and the total backlog is now estimated at $20 billion.
His other major positions follow the same electricity-first logic.
$700 million in CoreWeave and a massive short on Infosys betting that AI coding agents destroy the outsourced IT business.
Intel call options printing multiples on a 53% run and a 10% activist stake in Core Scientific, a Bitcoin miner converting its power infrastructure into AI data center hosting.
The entire Wall Street AI trade was piled into model companies and chip companies.
Aschenbrenner looked at the same thesis and concluded the real bottleneck was whether the power grid could deliver enough electricity to run the models.
He was right, and the returns are public record.
One of our analysts at Milk Road called this exact play two months ago, took a massive position in Bloom Energy, and it is already up over 55%.

5. $RKLB - the final frontier of space will be around 5 years from now and 20 years from now.
6. $DRAM - memory exposure for samsung/sk hynix
7. $AVGO - hyperscalers dont like nvidia gpu tax
8. $AMZN - nobody can compete against the overnight shipping of toilet paper. robotics will lower opex over time
9. $ARM - AGI CPUs scale revenue quite a bit over the next decade
10. $TSEM - you're going to need a foundry for light based stuff
11. $IBIT - bitcoin, we all know by now
12. $NBIS - i think it's the next AWS. Also they do self-driving cars with uber, own scaling DB companies, data labeling. It's almost like a mini Google.
13. $GOOGL - youtube is not going away, gemini is great. they're vertically integrated with TPUs and fund buildout with operating income so i like it.
14. $AMKR - super facilities coming online in late 2027-2028. benefits from made in america
15. $HOOD - i dont like short term, but long term i'm a fan of Robinhood since they captured retail + have more products like banking, etc that they're scaling up. product innovation is wild.
16. $CRCL - I happen to really like stablecoins and see them as the future for both payments/holding (depends on clarity act)
17. $META - people aren't going to stop using instagram or whatsapp, or others anytime soon.
18. $LITE - $GOOGL TPU exposure decently high part of BOM. As long as Google's AI program keeps running I think $LITE will do well.
19. $LPTH - Germanium and China export controls will always be an issue so US made engineered alternatives will always be important
20. $FN - Someone needs to assemble optical stuff
21. $JBL - same as above, but added with ip from Intel's SiPh acqusition so might end up like innolight?
22. $MP - American rare earths program is extremely important, similar to $INTC national security risks
23. $HIMS - Okay here me out they just acquired a ton of companies, and at $19 they have global DTC channel. short sellers really hate this company, but I think it's actually promising as a contrarian long
24. $SMTC - LRO/LPO transition
25. $POWL - US alternative to hammond for switchgear DC type bottleneck
26. $VPG - Humanoids will be a thing down the road maybe 2027-2028, this makes the sensors.
27. $MOG.A - Feels like i see them everywhere in robotics, to spacex supply chains
28. $MSFT - At $375, one day we'll look back and see this as a buying opportunity.
29. $CVX - oil might crash after war but these oil companies are going to be extremely important, especially when Venezulea is a goldmine.
30. $XLU - i think rate cuts might be back online, we need power/grid for AI so these names will always be improtant from $CEG to $NEE
