If Batanes is a geographical extension of Taiwan, it is logical then for the Philippines to claim Taiwan as a rightful part of its territoy.

Some initial result related to the climatological (temporal) distribution of tornadoes/waterspouts in the Philippines.
Just as expected, it coincides with the monsoon season, starting from May to October.

Based on the NCEI, which officially documents weather events back to 1950, should this tornado be rated it would be the very tornado EVER documented in Guam! It is quite possibly the island has had undocumented events but this is the first definitive one I’ve personally seen.
Violent Typhoon #BAVI has reached Dvorak Technique T7.5 per NOAA, equivalent to 879mb/155kt winds. This is truly an anomalous event for this time of year, and I very highly doubt it will be the last one that reaches this year given the ENSO forecasts.
Super Typhoon Bavi is doing something extremely rare.
Usually, in the NHEM, tornadic supercells form NE or E of a TC's center.
However, several supercells are currently ongoing W and SW of Bavi's center.
I've never seen one form SW of an NHEM TC before, let alone 10+ of them.
