@GodlyNose@creepycrow88@bizlet7 It’s the only sound money we have and out of the controls of the central banks. It has luckily gathered enough momentum and proven staying power. And in the words of the great Nick Szabo, “Bitcoin is quite robust”
@GodlyNose@creepycrow88@bizlet7 I did invest in Bitcoin, since 2019. It’s 100% of my assets because it’s our only hope. Most people didn’t invest in it until 2017 onwards. There was very little information on it and few places to buy it up until 2016 (few podcasts/books on it). There is probably still 30x left
@IcedReality He is right. It’s unfair on both sides. It’s unfair that his country of origin loses quality players and it’s unfair that the country they play for loses their representation. It’s a lose, lose situation.
@CaudilloXIV Did my first polymarket bet yesterday on Canada to win. Didn’t realise it would be a total loss if it’s a draw. Probability sucks because the odds are not at all close to 50/50 when draws happen so often in football. Odds are more 33% for a win for close teams in a World Cup.
@creepycrow88@GodlyNose@bizlet7 Maybe zoomers do have it worse. All I said was millennials had a shit time. Maybe look at the youth unemployment chart post 2008 and compare to zoomers. Also I wish I had AI when I was in college in 2010 would have made engineering a lot easier.
@bishara That’s stupid. The gpt moment for robots would require an enormous dataset of physical movement, a large spatial model LSM. Sim doesn’t cut it because it lacks data for sensor fusion. People have to wear special gloves doing everyday tasks just to generate the data alone.
Europe we are at war , our mothers, our daughters our wife’s are their targets
An 86-year-old woman was brutally murdered after having her throat slit today in France…

@BitcoinPierre@MartyBent@observerofdecay@ewarren I wish this was the case but I don’t believe it. Destroying jobs doesn’t imply the creation of new ones. Dystopian skynet/tech empire vs rebels and wealth inequality is more likely imo.
@Cernovich Not all charity is the same. Giving money away is bad. Doing pragmatic things is good like medical treatment. The irony is that increasing living standards leads to female education which leads to lower birth rates. Being charitable doesn’t imply printing Africans.
