You can like SOME parts of Retail and think they are vast improvements without wanting everything from retail.

Calling every suggested feature “retail-ifying” a game that's already introducing transmog, a more modern interface, HD models and race/class combinations from Retail is certainly something. Forever is its own version of WoW, built with elements from different eras, FYI.

The constant back and forth between Retail and Classic players is already getting tiring. It feels like everything has to turn into an argument over which version of WoW is better. I’d rather just enjoy Forever for what it is and see where it goes.
