Meta has enabled a setting that allows anyone to use your public Instagram photos to create AI-generated images of you unless you opt out.

To opt out, click your profile -> 3 bars in the top right -> scroll down to "Sharing and reuse" and toggle off for both Posts and for Reels.

Just letting you know that the Department of Environment (DOE) has banned Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports from being downloaded because of “national security” reasons.

This means rural, coastal & indigenous communities will have the hardest time assessing EIAs.

So far friend has been using it from China, no issues because shadowsocks looks like regular web traffic. Runs Google Meet and WhatsApp through it.
