It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.
And they’re right.
@CARARuns summer training is over 2300 runners! This is the second largest training group we’ve had in our 45 year history!
Taking group training to the next level over here💥!

@CARARuns marathon training is the largest it’s been since 2008 and the second largest in program history.
2,300 runners working together to tackle to marathon this fall… It’s a thing of beauty!

@PNC_777 Flip side of that, you’d spend more time recruiting kids who are less likely to come to your school and be successful. Not great ROI for low staffed programs.
Two types of chill people:
1) People who are chill because they’re on their game and confident in the work they do.
2) People who don’t know how unprepared they are and make it everyone else’s problem.
Last night I jumped in the last rep with one of my runners.
My boss joked: “Don’t pull your hamstring, we don’t need a workers comp claim already.”
Jokes on him though- I already hyperextended my hamstring at work tripping over Tupperware I left on the floor.
@AP_protocol_ @anonyloco Not the only way, but the most effective. You can build an aerobic base with biking, but you don’t get the same stimulus on the muscles, bones, nervous system.
We want to build the running chassis and engine at similar rates. Run volume is the easiest way to do that.
@StrengthDebates Plenty of studies and examples of how a simple “good job” or a high fives outperform positive critiques.
Maybe it’s lazy, but depending on the context, it’s the most effective methodology to improve performance.
Upset from a minor or major setback, say this affirmation out loud:
“That’s showbiz baby!”
For whatever reason that always improves my mood even if it’s just a little bit.
“Oh well, I’m just a little guy.” Is also acceptable.
@CoachMcCannERT That’s why I always text or email first to schedule a time. Saves a lot of time not talking to uninterested kids. Also, screening your calls is just good communication hygiene these days.
@aelowe1@coachjayjohnson I don’t think male and female performance follow the same distribution curve. So I think picking one cut off to make the comparison is always going to be difficult.
@Maddog98730644 The problem is that the athletes are only coming to you a few days before the meet when they’ve known about Prom all year.
As a first year coach, you’ve probably got to suck it up and let them go. But standards need to be reset for the next season.
