He/him. Cocktails, transportation, and technology for social good. Has two cats and will kill for them. Goes by WIP in circles. A little gamedev, as a treat.
@CortanaV I went to sleep with Jeff Bridges' sleep tapes when it released a few years ago.
It legitimately cracked my mind open and an existential crisis flooded in. I've grown and evolved so much from it and other events, but I ain't fucking listening to it again.
@AskPlayStation Hi yes, I just bought the new God of War on PC and can't play my game because your account system doesn't work. I reset my password and get an error. I try to login, I get an error. Everything I do I get an error.
@RideUTA The wifi on frontrunner is always very bad at the Draper and South Jordan stations. Doubly aggravating because northbound always has to wait for the southbound trains here, so I just gotta hope whatever I'm working on doesn't need internet.
@RideUTA Thanks for the response, but this is the update from May! Has the update that was given to the legislature just recently talking about The Point station been put anywhere?
@RideUTA Saw some slides from the FrontRunner Forward presentation made to the transportation assembly. Awesome stuff!
Is there a place on the UTA site for this and deeper information about the plans?
And also, who do I have to talk to to get the timeline accelerated?
@RideUTA I understand delays happen, but if you're making folks use the Transit app, the least you could do is actually track your trains on it. Couldn't tell at all where the southbound from SLC central was and had to run back to it.
There is a massive asshole on the train berating T-Mobile on the phone. I don't care for corporations, but I sure feel bad for them. So if anyone from TMo is dealing with a shithead from Utah about his data being refreshed, just go ahead and hang up on the fucker.
@SecretaryPete Thank you for this. I've been writing my Utah reps for years about the importance of transit, especially with what abysmal air quality we have.
Elon is such a pathetic man baby and guess this is the breaking point for me. Of course a talentless billionaire could speedrun the death of my favorite website. Free speech and what not.
Oh well, bye.
