There are people who behead others simply because they believe differently. There are people who come to live in the Western world yet have absolutely no desire to integrate, openly despise the culture that welcomed them, and — yes, in some cases — commit horrific crimes against women and children.
Obviously, I am not talking about everyone.
But then some of those same voices turn around and lecture the rest of us:
“You must hate the Jews. You must stand against Israel. And if you don’t agree with us, then you’re a Zionist and an enemy too.”
Why? Because they have been fighting this conflict for generations? Because extremists carry out terrorist attacks and openly dream of wiping out the other side, therefore the rest of the world is supposed to inherit their hatred?
Seriously — can’t you see what is happening?
Your mind is being programmed.
New enemies are being installed into your head. New slogans. New emotional triggers. New templates telling you whom you are supposed to hate and what you are allowed to think.
You don’t have to support Israel. You don’t have to support Palestine. You don’t have to blindly support anyone.
But the moment somebody tells you that you must hate an entire people, you should start asking who is manipulating whom.
