@slomobo@HypercoreProto Still trying to figure out if "web3" means "all distributed tech" or "just blockchains" so sometimes we say web3 and sometimes we don't?
@slomobo FWIW we don't have any cryptocurrencies in here right now. Right now we're just working with @HypercoreProto. If we ever get crypto involved, it's going to be optional
🔥NEW SPORK POWER🔥
Spork Beam: an Encrypted, Networked Pipe
Send streams and files between two devices.
With a little `cat` magic, you can even get a chat going! https://t.co/bhRr8pbHTV
It can be a little confusing to understand how spork's p2p tunnels works. The main thing to know is that spork acts like a proxy between "normal" sockets and the p2p sockets. https://t.co/fXVKpBJDpq
⚡️New spork power: spork serve.
Serve a folder as a static site that's accessible via p2p tunnels and the https://t.co/xjmk50yfGX public gateway. Learn more at https://t.co/fXVKpBJDpq.
Very happy to release the first public alpha of Hypercore 10 today. It's been quite a journey with tons of work from myself, @andrewosh and the team. It contains massive improvements across the board

Version 1.0.0 is now out with ⚠️breaking changes⚠️ to the wire protocol. See https://t.co/fSWTcPv5QY for information about why. Sadly there's no new features to make this breaking change fun; just cleanup.
Make sure you're using spork 1.0.0+ on both ends.
Incredibly simple encrypted decentralized P2P tunneling. Instead of a static IP you connect to a unique key via the swarm to locate the server. Secure alternative to DNS since the key is random and unique rather than human readable (per Zooko's triangle).
