@rdw2541 @RMTunion You’re missing the point - they’ve installed huge barriers that are virtually impossible to circumnavigate. Then rechecking tickets after 3 mins of travel is just totally inefficient and not required. Too many unnecessary overheads.

Why @RMTunion does it take 6 staff to man the barriers at St P and then a ticket insp checks your ticket again before you’re past West Hampstead on an intercity? No wonder there is not enough money to pay the staff - there’s far too many of them #toomanycooks #railstrikes
