@skdh I agree, ICF and Tokamaks are the wrong shape for fusion. They may work, but the infrastructure surrounding them makes them not viable right now.
And any fusion plant should be using a TES and turbines, not just DEC.

@chamath They know people are downloading their own LLMs and aren't paying for frontier models. Every consumer isn't working with particle physics or deep tech. It's mostly chats about common things, and you don't need a trillion parameter LLM for that.

President Trump understands the media hoax cycle better than anyone else. That is why he is refusing the “pause” that Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are demanding. A pause would not make America safer. It would hand the frontier to China. That would be a disaster for the American economy and for national security.
