In our prime days tungeenda kuchunga Ng'ombe but divert into swimming kwa mto, kucheza ball na kudandia trela za miwa.
Mathe asipotoa maziwa kikombe moja hyo siku enda lala tu diaspora

Karen Nyamu opens up about her relationship with Samidoh, revealing that they no longer communicate directly but instead pass messages through her driver and personal assistant.
This morning I slept at 4am nogete ta silly but must be in chuka by 3pm.
Woke up feeling drained.
Too tired to drive I opt taking a matatu.
I get into a matatu, pay up and relax.
Destination: Embu.
This man keeps looking at me.
It's kinda uncomfortable, but I'm not about to pull out my phone and pretend I can't see him.
Naah.
I stare right back.
Cold and dry. I
mean, if you recognize someone it's more polite to say hi than just stare.
Now we're looking at each other.
Wacha tupimane nguvu and see who blinks first. I always won that game as a kid.
"Ni Joan?" he asks.
"Yes, sasa?" I respond.
"Haiyar! Kwani unatumianga matatu? Mtu kama wewe anatumia matatu aje? Ama ni mafuta?"
He asks, full of excitement.
I get it.
I get the message.
He's basically trying to say,
"Y'all buy cars you can't afford to fuel."
"Yangu iko nyumbani.
Yako iko wapi?" I shoot back.
He goes quiet.
Interesting how the conversation suddenly dies.
And right there is the problem.
The moment you get a few followers on social media, people start putting expectations on you.
They don't expect you to use matatus or Ubers.
They think you shouldn't dress a certain way, eat in certain hotels, or use certain phones.
If you fall for that stupidity, you're cooked.
There will never be a day you fully meet their expectations.
The bar keeps rising until you eventually tap out full of debt and depression.
