Last year, France held it's first snap election in 27 years, resulting in a deadlocked National Assembly split into 3 major blocks.
Here's round 1 of this election, mapped for the first time (I think) by precinct ⬇️🧵
Hitler stans posting him ‘protecting’ a Ukrainian girl and polish guy, the same Hitler who called Slavs subhuman and planned to genocide millions of them. Dumb weirdo’s 😂
CAGOV primary splits mainly by density, not income: Hilton wins the low-density precincts at every income level, and the dense urban cores break Democratic; Becerra the urban tier; Steyer the very densest, regardless of income.

Publicamos el mapa de Bogotá barrio por barrio de la primera vuelta. Pero lo interesante aparece al compararlo con 2022: la ciudad se corrió a la derecha, y se ve exactamente en qué barrios. Hilo con los extremos 🗺️👇
@RepOgles they're saying you raised $23,000 on gofundme for a children's burial garden in honor of your stillborn son but then pocketed the money, can you please explain? was your stillborn son gay?
Left trending Miami had been the thing keeping Democrats afloat in Florida as they lost ground with WWC voters across the state. However, in 2020 that changed as their margins with Hispanic voters fell off a cliff to the point where Harris nearly lost the Miami metro in 2024.
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 Dude you've got me all wrong.
I know the differences are greater.
It's a deliberately wrong argument to show how wrong you are about Europe.
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 I'm not claiming the differences between Austin Dallas and Houston aren't significant. I'm saying they're about as different as, say, Montpellier Marseille and Nice : very different cities with very different cultures, despite being in the same part of the same country.
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 For the billionth time I know Texas is extremely varied.
All I'm hoping for is for you to either learn more about Europe or not talk about something youre unwilling to learn about.
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 "the differences between America Mexico and Canada are like the differences between England Wales and Scotland" is wrong, that's the point.
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 You're saying the cultural differences between EU countries is the same as between US states.
This is like saying the cultural differences between America Mexico and Canada are like the differences between England Wales and Scotland.
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 I know. If you were arguing with an "America is all the same" guy if be on your side.
But you don't realize the same is true for Europe.
Marseille Nice and Montpellier are even closer, in the same part of France, and each have radically different identities, cultures, values.
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 Dude you're missing the point.
I know RI, TX and OR are very different.
But everything you say is true about different parts of EU countries too. Plenty of Europeans are very ignorant about America, bur right now you're doing the same thing.
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 It's okay to be wrong sometimes.
Andalusia and Catalonia, Sicily and Lombardia, Saxony and Bavaria, Paris and Languedoc are as different as the states you mentioned (and themselves have lots of internal variations)
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 Yeah claiming RI, OR And TX are the same is obviously dumb. But there are similar differences within most European countries too
@AgileJebrim@yaoi_pyrholidon@wildstar33 This is at least as stupid as claiming America has no regional differences. You have to be extremely ignorant to actually think that
