A Thousand Projects - So much to do, so little time. We are a software development company handling projects from Embedded to Azure, and perhaps a few robots..
The more technology advances, the further back I go... ๐คฃ
I've been wanting to try out wire wrap boards for a while... I'm going to put a small Z80 with PIA and SIO as a first attempt.

I'm learning Verilog so I decided to implement a composite video with a grid on FGPA. Also learned a lot about the composite signal. The grid is too wide, so I need to look into that. Lots of fiddly bits to get it to sync properly - the second draft will be to simplify it.
Busy with the Sansui Amp rebuild. Inside, a power capacitor that someone had replaced a while back. The price tag - "RF POTTS" for 40p!
I googled it to see if there was any info - assuming it no longer existed... it is still going. Established in 1933.

Another addition to my collection. No idea if it works yet- well, there is no analog TV in the UK anymore, as far as I know. Might add a composite input. There is no battery with this one either.
@matseng Actually itโs not that hard. The irony is that, while these printers were fun, they were not practical so little of the metallic paper was used. I have about 8 rolls, 4 of them still packed and โas newโ
Got another two ZX Printers. One works, one does not - I don't know yet which is which. I want to connect one of them up to an Arduino..... just for fun.... ๐
I've just put the first part of my Apple IIe repair. This one shows the fix to the motherboard. Subsequent ones will show the power supply, keyboard, drive and monitor repairs.

SOOOO Happy. I've fixed the Apple Monochrome monitor. It was a (very) bad capacitor on the horizontal sweep. I recapped all the other electrolytic capacitors as well and gave it a good clean.
