So why today? 🤍 Today marks the 1-year anniversary of my mother's passing 💔 After 4 years of battling cancer, she decided to stop treatment 💪🏻 The next month+ was wonderful--she felt good, her mind was sharper, her attitude was again loving 🖤 And then things took a fast turn for the worse 🪦

Her death wasn't unexpected. My siblings and I were at her side the night she died. It was traumatic to say the least, but it was bittersweet because she was no longer in pain.

Knowing she was going to die did not make it any easier. But I was blessed to have some final moments and conversations with her.

Among other things, she reminded me that life is unpredictable. You can't expect things to always go well--or even close to well--so make sure to take the time to enjoy the good times and yourself, friends, and family.

And shockingly (to those that knew her), she said don't die with a lot of money in the bank. You can't take it with you ... and trust fund kids usually have their own set of liabilities!

She wasn't advocating blowing it all in Vegas on 👙and 🌬️ (I think!) And she said not to be selfish with it either, but use it for enjoyment, good, and helping others.

So that's why today. I've been saving up eth to spread joy today. I love art. You probably love art (or are just really odd to be reading all of this lol) Who doesn't love art? [Fascists but that's a different novel!]

And one of the things I enjoy the most about web3 is connecting with art, artists, and art lovers around the globe. Y'all are a fun, loving, and entertaining bunch. Please don't stop!!
