Yesterday many speedboats seen in the Strait of Hormuz motoring towards Iran. Not sure of these are military or smuggling. The last time this was observed it was speculated that they were mine laying. I doubt that.

Oman suspends oil loading at Mina al Fahal terminal following explosion - Reuters.

Location is roughly between bouys SBM 1 and SBM 2. These buoys have not had any traffic lately seen from satellite images. I assume no tankers were close to the specific bouys. The only traffic seen was a tug that popped up around 0500 UTC, probably to monitor the situation.

Basicly: Nothing happened.

Satellite timelapse of the Tehran Oil Refinery / Shahr-e Rey depot, Feb 25 – May 31, 2026.

The site was hit on the night of March 7 during the strikes on four oil depots around Tehran.

The cleanup has been ongoing but I can not see any replacement of the damaged tanks yet.

There are come agricultural fields just south of the complex. Some of the fields got plowed shortly after the fires. Probably wise due to the fallout.

I doubt that will happen. The IRGC does not care about the Iranian people. They are using the regime funds as their own pocket money and they have plenty of it for that usage. They been suffering stagflation for years and the top 1% does not care just like before. They are only scared of losing power. Its going to take another mass riot but this time weaponized for anything serious to happen. The most likely trajectory for now is that they will only accept a deal that will put them in a better position than they were prior to the war and Trump seems to be softening up for that.

I dont know of any UK flagged warships in the gulf of Oman. This looks like AIS spoofing of the Pakistani warship that has been patrolling the area the past month. Now with UK spoofed flag.
