@daveoflynn@ServiceNSW Also their staff hand write your info onto the vials, unlike NSW testers who attach a proper barcode tracked to your details. So I wouldn’t be surprised if tests get lost, and it would certainly add to the processing time compared to simply scanning a code.
International travelers are being funneled into a private PCR testing lab at Sydney International Airport, who have disconnected their phones and won’t answer emails. All @ServiceNSW can say is “private lab, not our problem”. 85 hours for test results, and still waiting! 😶
@BrettGoulder@ServiceNSW Thankfully just self-isolating at home - we decided to come back to Aus when the 2 weeks quarantine policy was dropped for fully vaccinated travelers. But at this rate who knows how long it’ll take for test results.
@niick@ServiceNSW@RNBreakfast I wish! What’s ridiculous is the previous rule was neg. PCR prior to departure then 72h isolation on arrival. We satisfy that, but with the new “relaxed” rule you only need to isolate until you get a neg. PCR on arrival - great in theory but in practice we’re stuck in limbo.
@kevinhoctor Just grab a pair of blister pack FRS radios and elastic band them to your handle bars. Cheap, lots of charge, instant talk, more than enough range for bike-to-bike or car-to-bike https://t.co/DzNx8Uv0ok
@chancegraham Not exactly what you’re suggesting, but you might enjoy a search for #kountchallenge where artists use the same @THEK0UNT drums loops to make a beat https://t.co/5TAnvCEQ9h 😊
