@AshleyGWinter So timely - thank you! I'm not a doctor, but was talking to a BC survivor who received that info ~30 years ago and hasn't heard anything to the contrary since then. I'm like, "I'm pretty sure Dr. Winter would advise otherwise, especially given the potential benefits for you 🤔".
LEADER: @argonne’s Bo Feng is the National Technical Director for our Fast Reactor Program, which is instrumental in supporting industry’s efforts to deploy advanced reactors in the U.S. to help us achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. #AAPIHeritageMonth (1/3)
@BeJules1998 Just catching up, and I'm so sorry for your loss. I think what you described is absolutely expected. Like Kalin said, it can come in waves too. Sometimes you can start to feel "normal", then it feels like you're back with it all over again. Be kind and patient with yourself ❤

People often forget that being in the STEM field doesn’t mean you have to be an engineer or a mathematician… you can be a communicator, public relations, marketing, business person, etc., helping out the STEM community! STEM needs everyone on board, and people w/ unique skills!

@spaceandweather I'm just barely 5'4" but it seems like I'm all torso and no legs. Cropped dress pants have been a blessing, because they're full length slacks for me 😂 But yes, I've gotten very good at hemming pants (and some jacket sleeves!) over the years.
@BeJules1998 It definitely changes over time. Maybe ask your PCP about tretinoin? Insurance will generally cover it for acne (vs wrinkles), but it can really help. Otherwise I'd recommend adding lots of moisture to your routine, and checking out r/skincareaddiction 🙂
@water_doc_doyle@krose621 Same. Growing up w/ a mailbox on the street, red flag up for outgoing mail. We bought a house in an older neighborhood w/ the box on the house, & now we use a paper/binder clip to attach outgoing mail to the outside of the mailbox. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't 😬
IMPACT SUCCESS! Watch from #DARTMIssion’s DRACO Camera, as the vending machine-sized spacecraft successfully collides with asteroid Dimorphos, which is the size of a football stadium and poses no threat to Earth.
