If a 75 year old woman walks in and an employee they-thems her, she's going to be offended, and everybody intuitively knows this. People only do the gender-neutral stuff when they see a trans person.

@remyplaguerat @documense @terrafically I don't think there is a way. It's probably better to tell cis people to just assume peoples' pronouns and accept corrections with grace. The way you're describing it basically encourages employees to third-gender all trans women by default.

@remyplaguerat @terrafically Yeah, I hate when people do that. It feels like they're trying to withhold my gender from me 100% of the time. I wish people would just assume my pronouns. Being blatantly misgendered is less offensive to me than being aggressively gender-neutraled.

@Z33Queen hasn't been an issue in over 15 years. It's only the naturally aspirated SOHC EJ25's that do that, and if one of those is still on the road at this point, it's been replaced with an MLS gasket which is a permanent fix
