On this day in 1295, the first elected representatives from Lancashire attended Parliament.

Today celebrates our historic county of #Lancashire.

Lancashire stretches from the River Mersey in the south to Morecambe Bay and Furness Fells in the north.

@TUIUK @tuicruises. As your partner we were in it together, along with over 300 other travellers leaving #explorer2 flying back to Manchester over the last 28+hrs, trying to get home from Dubrovnik. #TUIUK must do better.

@TUIUK is this acceptable? 28hr 7min delay. Left #Explorer2 at 8.10am 23 June. 13 hrs later inc 4hrs sat on plane was put in hotel after engine failure & medical emergency. Day2: dep. moved twice & sat on plane another hr. Will question booking again with Tui
