We just published a deep dive into how Torium Network's blockchain will actually work.

Here's the short version:
Most chains ask you to buy in. Buy hardware. Buy tokens. Stake your money.

Torium doesn't.

We're building a consensus mechanism called Proof of Participation (PoP). Instead of rewarding who has the most money or the most powerful hardware, it rewards who shows up. Your uptime, your validations, your consistency over time - that's what builds your score.

The higher your participation score, the more likely you are to produce the next block. No mining rigs. No minimum stake.

Your phone is the node.

When you open the Torium app, your device validates transactions, relays data, and participates in block production. When you go offline, no problem - you sync only the new blocks when you're back.

We designed everything around the reality of mobile: battery constraints, intermittent connectivity, limited storage. The target is under 50MB on your phone.
