@HawkeyeRy Generally I agree, but I do think that the ability to pick and choose your crops can alter that decision somewhat.

For example, if I plant 3 crops this year and I know all of my best ground will be planted in crop A, then maybe it makes sense to have crop B and crop C in CLIP.

@KeatonHeller I ran the numbers on my county. Assuming $4 price in the fall (wild guess, but about where we are at now), yield in my county would need to be close to 20 bushels higher than the spring expected yield. Price will change that number either up or down obviously.
