@SolarisFlame Theyre going to find a way to give it to the Witcher 3 Remaster. Not nearly enough people will have played the Sky remakes compared to the vast amount of people who have heard that the Witcher 3 is a good game.
@BacklogDragon@Stealth40k And from another publisher's perspective, why take over a project that another publisher already decided wasn't worth continuing? They'd potentially be taking on a partially developed game, additional development costs, and whatever contractual complications come with last publis
@BacklogDragon@Stealth40k The publisher probably put a ton of money into the game to get it this far. If that publisher pulls out, I imagine it makes things a lot more complicated financially and contractually for the developer.
@SlashBryz And to be completely fair... when devs do the opposite (like Silksong not having difficulty options) people usually dock it points for not catering to their preferences.
@SlashBryz This is a pretty fair review tbh.
Preferring when the devs have a clear vision for a game and try to make the game match that as closely as possible instead of trying to appease everyone, but not greatly satisfying anyone is a take I can agree with.
@AhmadHi74349943@gamerprince1999 Renne being Evil, the final confrontation of Joshua vs Loewe. Legit EVERY conclusion of what the story builds up to across chapters is already shown.
@AhmadHi74349943@gamerprince1999 Merriam-Webster definition of a spoiler: "Information about the plot of a movie or TV program that can spoil a viewer's sense of surprise or suspense".
This trailer shows every single thing that happens at the conclusion of a chapter. The tank scene, Joshua vs Estelle.. come on
@solitairesoc@Hansuke21 I think you might be talking about the evo trailer, the original had 2 things that are spoilery but wouldnt ruin the ending of chapters. This trailer spoils the endings of pretty much every chapter, just seeing these visuals will tell you exactly how everything ends.
@dimatat3@LixeiraDoFrost I think the existence of a feature like that inherently disproves that SMT doesn't expect you to grind. And I know Vengeance fixed it, they did because everyone hated the feature.
@LixeiraDoFrost I think a lot of JRPGs would be a lot better if they had meaningful battles instead of enemies that are barely a challenge, but you need to defeat atleast 100 of them before the next boss or you're underlevelled.
To beat Shin Megami Tensei as a casual you need to "grind".
@LixeiraDoFrost Were talking about the Franchise that implemented a level curve on bosses that made you do less damage if your level was too low? Come on now
Also a lot of JRPG fans (I am also one btw) think it's not "grinding" to fight every single battle, which is something only we expect.
@_viridiem While it probably deserves to be there, I doubt even as much as 10% of the people in the jury for the game awards even so much heard about the game.
Give it a few years with Falcoms current pace and they'll be known enough to be nominated
@TheDavidVinc Pretty sure this is one kid trying to get a reaction out of you. The odds of 2 people responding to each other in the span of 3 minutes across several comments is near impossible nowadays
@Apricot064@akeurajitsukasa Yeah exactly! Eric Barone credits Harvest Moon. Most farming sims after Stardew Valley Credit Harvest Moon & Stardew Valley, but none are crediting Rune Factory as their inspiration
OG poster is saying Fields of Mistria is more like Rune Factory than Stardew, which is just wrong
@akeurajitsukasa Stardew and Rune Factory both came out of the Harvest Moon formula. Rune Factory may have been an important evolution of the formula, but modern farming sims clearly arenโt looking to it for inspiration in the same way they are with Stardew.
