Young farmers can play a big role in making the agriculture & food sector as a source of job creation. But they face risks like erratic weather patterns, environmental degradation which significantly leads to reduced agricultural productivity, heightened food insecurity, and growing out-migration among them.

To address some of the challenges at hand, @yofchan with support from @FAO is implementing a project dubbed "Enhancing Resilience and Empowerment in Communities at Risk of Climate-Induced Migration" in Isingiro District aimed at empowering local communities, particularly women and youth, through climate-resilient livelihoods, sustainable
natural resource management, and inclusive governance systems.
