Their decision has been appealed not by Hockey Canada but by legal representatives for the individuals being sanctioned. Nothing surprising in this. Anyone sanctioned will have their lives altered with no un-do option.

While the original COVID-19 variant was much less transmissible, newer variants keep outcompeting each other with better transmission. The latest BA.5 variants is even more transmissible than BA.2 and BA.1 before it. 9/
