This entire game is about experimentation. The true story they wanted to tell was dark. Isaiah’s story reached Dawnbreaker levels of dark and that is why it was so compelling to me. We rarely get stories with that level of depth anymore.

To those who insist this is some simple rewrite and Isaiah’s story doesn’t matter to the overall story I beg you to go read the WU. What lore is dropped is integral to Xavier and how ever wants to bring him down to gain control of him. To lose out on a side characters story—-

I don’t think people understand how big of a deal this is. Who’s to say they haven’t been rewriting Valko’s character? Removing anything but the number from this WU does a ton of damage to the story for Xavier and the world building as a whole. Isaiah has no story now.
