The HFs are betting against the lender (for stock price to go down, whereas lender wants it stable or go up). LGs in current situation are making price go up, screwing the hedge funders.

@JoePorterUK @BorisJohnson It's called accountability. Is he or is he not the leader of this country. As a leader you are accountable for when things go wrong, not just when it goes right. In this situation, doing the 'best' they can do has fallen far sort of the standard required to manage the pandemic.

However, many fellow Vegans have claimed that explicitly, by referring to comparisons between the treatment of animals to Jews, or humans to Nazis. In those cases, there is no ambiguity, and it's wholly unacceptable

The word it is derived from, which has been around for thousands of years, has no meaning or association with the Holocaust.

@AdamRMG @Herofthewords No, but language has specific meaning. Holocaust is a specific term created only for that genocide (also it wasnt just Jews). The aim of a genocide is to destroy a group/nation, in this case an ethnicity. Systematic murder and breeding of animals for food production isnt genocide

@richroll Peak desperation indeed, most plant based alternatives are packaged in Tetrapak cartons, not 'milk' cartons, the same thing juices are packaged in. Telling also that environment comparisons could be included in the ban. Dairy industry operating out of insecurity, fear and denial.
