Kroger and Albertsons merging is would mean dozens of supermarket chains all being owned by the same megacorporations. Entire towns and neighborhoods, which already suffer from food apartheid, will be dependent on a single monopoly.

The increasingly aggressive rate of encampment removals under the Harrell administration has been both ineffective and financially irresponsible. Sweeping folks to another street or a different neighborhood is NOT creating a path out of homelessness.
