Just last year another black woman was murdered alongside her mother, grandmother and her partner by her boyfriend. Still find it hard to comprehend that this is the world we live in
In the last couple months two Black women (that we know of) have been murdered by their partners in front of their children. It’s so tragic that as a woman being partnered up or having children can literally be a death sentence
I’ve seen the discourse around young women not focusing on serious relationships and some women are not getting that the advice is literally a form of self-preservation and would rather peddle purity culture to keep women in bondage to men when this puts you at risk
This is literally Black Bonnie & Clyde of course they have to die. I know we are tired of trauma porn but not every narrative needs to be sanitised with a happy ending
That video of those women getting gassed over Meek Mill legit made me lose some of that South London pride. How can they embarrass us half way across the world for that clown
One of my co-workers came in to work the other day with a full beat and a new hairstyle. I was slightly distracted and wasn’t paying attention so I asked her what’s her name and she said we’ve already met 😭 I’m still mortified
Winter has started in DR Congo. With increasing cold and rain the sufferings of displaced people will increase only. there is no electricity and less food & no clean water. The situation is catastrophic. Spread the word and speak up. Congolese are dying.
The same Teyana Taylor who’s first single ‘Google Me’ was played constantly on Choice fm in London? The same one who put me on to Nicki Minaj by jumping on the ‘I gets crazy remix’? Surely you’re not talking about the same person
“To feed her family out there in Africa”. Imperialist superiority complex transcends races when it comes to the perception of Africans. Obnoxious and pathetic.
