@CatatoniaMouse@TRHLofficial Different types of suspicious findings may be better appreciated/ visible with different modalities. Calcifications can’t be seen on breast ultrasound.
Depending on the density of your breast tissue, automated whole breast ultrasound might be a great option for you as part of your screening routine. I wouldn’t completely cut out mammography, however. Microcalcifications can’t be detected by ultrasound, and they are often an indicator of breast cancers, especially when the changes in calcifications can be compared to previous year’s mammography.
Thank you, this is exactly what I came here to comment. Spotting changes in calcifications, especially when compared to previous year’s mammography, is one of the best ways to detect some breast cancers at a very early stage, making it much more survivable and also cost-effective downstream. This month was five years since my early stage breast cancer was caught on a screening MRI, and I will never stop telling other women to know their risk and work with their doctor to choose an appropriate screening protocol
@elonmusk@KonstantinKisin Thomas Sowell is good friends with @VDHanson, if you set up a lunch with both of them and put it on Spaces, you would break the Internet. Again.
It's really something to see hordes of high-paid journalists and intellectuals who championed Plexiglass Nation, 6-feet mysticism, playground closures, sanitizer baths, and plastic face coverings now denouncing dissidents as "anti-science." Unbelievable.
A reminder that folks who are leaving Twitter are doing so not because they were not permitted to express their opinion, but because you *are* permitted to express yours.
In honor of Elon and Vivek being picked as the heads of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), here some of the dumbest uses of your tax dollars.
5. $20,000 to drag shows in Ecuador.
4. $30,000 to study the secret language of butchers in Paris.
3. $750,000 for the New York Metropolitan Opera fire alarm.
2. $350,000 to develop AI smart toilets.
1. $660,000 to study the impact that COVID had on Russian women.
@DefiyantlyFree Really tragic and infuriating that an entire generation of young women has been brainwashed into thinking that having a baby is dangerous and the worst thing that could ever happen to you
"This election is something of an indictment on the political information complex. The story that was portrayed was not true. We were just ignoring the fundamentals."
Scott Jennings does a flawless job taking down an entire panel of woke CNN hosts.
