@Jo_WhiteheadUK Easy to say the cost of energy and ingredients has soared but nobody mentions those trying to actually make a living from catering. How many chip shop owners can pay themselves a living wage when all other costs are taken into account?
@Kippercricks Yes it was worse than this. I worked at Oxford Circus and it was unbearably hot. They made a Government Minister (Dennis Howells iirc) to oversee a national response and the rain started the next day. It didn't stop for weeks.
@ErikaMorris79 You have said this so well. I have been trying to work out just how to put my reaction to these *true fans* but there's no need now, well said.
@IOMTVMediaWatch@DesignerAsh87 I'm not sure I will ever watch the Olympics again. When biological men were encouraged to beat up women in the boxing ring that was it for me.
@DesignerAsh87 I never moan about paying the TV licence. What I moan about is all the shows that bore me to death. Strictly come prancing is top of my hate list along with Race across the world and Traitors. I want more live sport and good drama series.
@Stevo42250122@peterwhite_1 Who is that weird Scott person interfering with the spectators? He got on my nerves last night and he's here today. I might just have to listen on Sports Extra instead of watching. That would be a shame .
@ScottishJenbel@jk_rowling Potential customers will just go elsewhere. I never try on in store unless I can lock the door. There are fewer places to try on clothes every day, including the places where changing rooms have been closed altogether.
@kelltee@KristenWaggoner@TomFitton@ADFLegal Agreed 100%. I will not be following the next Olympics at all unless it becomes clear that no biological males will be allowed to compete in women's sports.
@_hypocaust@bbctms@norcrosscricket@AatifNawaz I struggle to listen to England games. They're up one minute, they're down the next. I turn off the smart speaker and go to the shops. OMG they've won!
