Holiday estate planning prep:
Do you have young kids? Figure out who to name as guardians.
Are all beneficiaries over 18? Learn about non-probate transfers.
Is the oldest generation in your family over 70? Research estate recovery in your state.
*not legal advice, just a good place to start
@AdamJarchow Going to Amery for a 10AA game on their old school Little League fields might be the highlight of summer. Two kids hit their first home runs on the shallow fence ... one even cracked a windshield.
Four teams played that night; somehow we all ended up at Kwik Trip after the game.
@japan_nobunaga Cheesy potatoes is the clear winner every time. And not just one pan -- three bags of hashbrowns split between two pans. Disappears every time.
Not sure who this post is for or what small audience even comprehends it, butโฆ
Fleet Farm, Kwik Trip & Culverโs are Wisconsinโs version of HEB, Buc-eeโs and Whataburger.
@AaronK_MN@DietCoke_Esq So glad we had this conversation -- there was a TORT mention in an email from UMN Law today, so I decided to ask about recordings. One hour and six emails later, I found out that there is a YouTube channel with all of the shows!

Wasn't going to plant a garden this year in an effort to prioritize my time well.
Apparently, it is a priority for my family, and they are ready to help -- my husband had a friend till it, my son picked out seeds with me, and everybody worked to get it planted before it rained!
@latinedisce Without looking it up I guessed "mortus" ... which is ... the right idea. (My kids would have gotten it correct, apparently, so I will do better next time.)
@HippyMomPhD For my 13yo daughter it helps to remind her to listen to herself ... she is used to doing that at the piano, so it actually works pretty well for her to realize how she is communicating to those around her. (And yes, we "listen" to nonverbals, too!)
@handmadeshoesia That's how it was when I was induced with my second ... nothing, and then all of the sudden I was very snappy and five minutes later there was a baby. Thinking of you all day!
