Sara’s SALN—wherein she included cash on hand and in banks as “Other Assets”—appears in accordance with the official guidelines for accomplishing the Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth as shown in this webpage: https://t.co/2HLR3OZRAW
As stated in the guidelines (page 4, Personal Properties (p):
“Personal properties…shall also include investments or OTHER ASSETS (emphasis added), such as cash on hand or in bank, negotiable instruments, securities, stocks, bonds, and the like.”
Under that definition, the classification is consistent with the prescribed format. Nothing irregular. No indication she’s trying to bury information. It instead raises the question whether the House committee members scrutinizing her presentation and maliciously imputing misdeclaration fully understand how SALN is accomplished—and whether their own declarations can withstand the same level of scrutiny.
Nasa Script na pala nila yung pag nam4tayan sila ay biglang magiging (researcher,civilian,advocat,teacjer,etc..) kaya pala sobrang defensive nitong mga 'OnePiece' aspirants. Ahahhaha #DestroyNPA#NoToCommunists
**🚨 NEVER FORGET 🚨**
The video doesn’t lie.
That viral clip of VIP maletas being unloaded from a helicopter straight into waiting bulletproof SUVs is real — and it matches exactly what the 18 ex-Marines have been saying all along.
These 18 heroes risked their lives and careers to expose **₱805 BILLION** in cash-filled suitcases delivered as kickbacks from anomalous infrastructure projects straight to the highest levels: President Marcos Jr., Speaker Martin Romualdez, former DBM Sec. Amenah Pangandaman, and the rest of the inner circle.
They were the security detail who physically handled the maletas, coordinated via group chats, and witnessed the handovers at residences, via helicopters, and armored vehicles. This wasn’t hearsay — it was their daily reality. Their “final act of service to the nation.”
**And how has the system responded?**
Ex-Rep Mike Defensor stood with them. Reward? Eduardo Año filed cyberlibel and perjury cases against him. NBI subpoenas hit Defensor, his wife, Atty. Baligod, and the soldiers. The NBI grilled the whistleblowers for 8+ hours each, yet by mid-March only 6 out of 18 had signed statements — focusing on discrediting them instead of chasing the money trail.
Senate Blue Ribbon Committee? Nothing but grandstanding, hot air, and procedural delays. “Might invite them… but it could become a circus.” No serious summons. No real action.
Ombudsman? Still “studying” and “verifying” months later while evidence cools and threats against the soldiers multiply.
**The video doesn’t lie.**
The soldiers’ eyewitness accounts don’t lie.
What’s lying is the institutional shield protecting the real bagmen at the top.
Expose the plunder = get investigated, subpoenaed, and sued.
Protect the plunderers = get shielded and promoted.
This is textbook **institutional capture**.
**Never Forget.**

In a partly dissenting opinion, ICC Judge Gocha Lordkipanidze said the court should not be allowed to exercise jurisdiction once a country’s withdrawal from the Rome Statute has taken effect, in the case involving former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Lordkipanidze argued jurisdiction must be triggered before withdrawal, warning otherwise would stretch the court’s powers.
He was outvoted, with the Appeals Chamber rejecting all four defense arguments and upholding ICC jurisdiction. | @TristanNodalo
ROMUALDEZ TELLS OMBUDSMAN: ‘DO NOT STOP WHERE IT IS POLITICALLY CONVENIENT’
WATCH: Former House Speaker and Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez urged the Ombudsman to follow the rule of law and due process, saying the office should not “settle for the easiest headline” or “confuse public pressure with prosecutorial duty.”
Ombudsman Boying Remulla earlier said his office is preparing a case against Romualdez. The agency also asked the Sandiganbayan to issue a precautionary hold departure order against Romualdez, which the court may use to bar him from leaving the country. | @bylancemejico
