Illinois woman who was “very interested” in the Lindsay Clancy trial, allegedly hanged her 2 year old child from the rafters in the basement of her $1M home.

2-year-old Barrett Walsh was found hanging with his feet off the ground.

His mother, Corie Walsh, immediately told investigators she thought he was the “devil” and the “anti-Christ.”

One witness says Walsh was “very interested” with the Clancy trial.

I was a young, single Air Force pilot in the 80s. Charleston AFB. C-141. First lieutenant turning captain. The Cold War was real and we were winning it. Reagan was in the White House.

The music was legendary. The cars were American and loud. And we partied.

The beaches were empty enough that a guy finishing a long trip could still find a parking spot and a cold beer.

I flew out of Charleston, hit the beaches, cranked Springsteen and Van Halen, and dated girls who didn’t need a 47-page consent form. We had call signs, shrimp & grits, great beer, and the quiet confidence that the country we served actually liked itself.

Reynolds grew up in Vancouver watching bootleg “Ghostbusters” tapes. That’s fine.

But lecturing Americans about the decade we actually lived in (while promoting a movie that leans hard into 80s cool) is peak Hollywood. I know. I used to live there.

He thinks we paved over trauma with puppy dogs and ice cream. We just remember being young, free, and flying. And freaking loving it!

The 80s weren’t trauma. They were a blast.

Top Gun was a documentary with better hair.

Defense attorney then proceeds to say that the judge will “identify the juror” who is the sole holdout for a full finding of not guilty by reason of insanity.

This seems like egregious juror intimidation.

The sidebar that was done publicly, singling out the apparent sole juror, is basically putting a target on that juror’s back for when they will invariably be publicly identified.

I don’t know if this is standard protocol. But it certainly seems abnormal and very dirty.
