You see how people are active and alert in the South West the moment the security concerns became alarming? That’s what I expect from every average citizen. If insecurity thrives in an environment, it’s because the criminals are very comfortable. Community Policing is the way to go.
PRESS STATEMENT
OYO STATE POLICE COMMAND REFUTES CIRCULATING MISINFORMATION AND WARNS AGAINST SECURITY MISCHIEF
The Oyo State Police Command has noted with serious concern a widely circulated publication containing detailed and purported operational information on the recent abduction incident in Ahoro-Esiele, Oriire Local Government Area, including alleged identities of suspects, communication interception details, and supposed financial transactions linked to ongoing investigations.
The Command wishes to categorically state that the said publication is misleading, speculative, and not an official security report. It contains numerous operational claims and technical assertions that did not emanate from the Police Command or any constituted security authority involved in the investigation.
For the avoidance of doubt, the investigation into the unfortunate incident remains active, sensitive, and intelligence-driven. As is standard practice in matters of this nature, operational details, identities of suspects, investigative leads, and financial intelligence components are strictly protected to safeguard ongoing efforts, prevent compromise of field operations, and ensure successful apprehension of all perpetrators.
The Command therefore cautions members of the public, bloggers, and online publishers against the dissemination of unverified, exaggerated, or operationally sensitive information capable of misleading the public, causing panic, or undermining active security operations.
The Oyo State Police Command will not hesitate to apply the full weight of the law against any individual or group found deliberately circulating false information, interfering with investigations, or attempting to obstruct ongoing security operations.
Members of the public are urged to rely strictly on official communication channels of the Command for verified information on the case and other security-related developments.
The Command reassures residents of its unwavering commitment to ensuring that all those involved in the crime are identified, arrested, and brought to justice in accordance with the law.

You have refused to take it down despite the fact that @OyoPoliceNG has debunked the news, this is not the first time you post false information about Oriire abduction. I hope you get arrested soon.
Someone asked if all these paparazzi for cows are necessary.
1. Cows are very emotional animal - their body responds to their emotions especially dairy Cattle. If they're happy they produce more milk, if they're sad they won't produce milk. That's why dairy farmers ensure they're well cared for.
Don't be surprised there's music in the background, it relaxes them and they produce more milk, some farms in Europe have TV in their shed that shows cartoons, they'll be happy & produce more milk - this is fact based on research.
Cows has best friends in the herd, if your remove the best friend maybe sell or k!||, they'll be sad or upset and it affects milk production (imagine how emotionally traumatized Naija cows dey)
2. Why do they have AC in the Shed.
The cattle breed in the video is Simmental breed, they have a very low heat tolerance. The heat affects the male sperm quality or breeding capacity while the female will have drastic low milk yield or even dëæth. I think the weather was hot that's why the cooling system is set up.
One reason why Vom in Plateau State is the dairy capital of Nigeria (that's where exotic breeds (Friesian etc) of cattle in Nigeria are reared) the cold temperature helps dairy Cattle to produce more milk, reducing stress.
If you want to set up and enjoy your dairy farm, carry your exotic cattle to Jos plateau the weather will help your business.
Sad Fact:
Nigeria's local breed milk yields an average of 1.5 - 2.5 litres per cow per day while Friesian yields 24-38 litres per day.
It begs the question why are our local breed the lowest milk producing breed in the world?
Dem go waka north to south, herders go beat them, no water, sometimes no feed, no medicine remember cows are emotional animals - to see that 1.5 litres seff na pump and beg!
Anyways happy weekend to you.
Lanre NaijaFarmer.
ADC list is out. APC lists are out. We know all the candidates in Imo, Kaduna, Adamawa. In fact, go to the ADC office in Abuja and ask for the list. They’ll give you
Divorce rates are high because women don't think they should have to have as much consideration for their husbands as they expect their husbands to have for them.
My lawyer told me about a divorce case where the wife stayed in the marriage to allow the husband finish taking care of the children before she left the marriage.
It's a wise decision. You don't want to be burdened with financial struggles so you just check out and leave at the right time. Divorce is not as easy as you think. You have to be very wise.
Her reason for leaving the marriage is because she fell out of love with her husband after she found out he started another family 20 years into the marriage.
“Qing Madi can’t release music independently for now until she resolves her label issues”
We touched on Qing Madi’s new EP, Barely Legal, and the ongoing ex-label drama on the latest episode of But What Do I Know Podcast 🎙️
Do you think the label situation is holding her back?
So people loyal to PO will get government appointments if he wins, rightfully so I must add. But people following Atiku or BAT are mocked by Obidients for wanting to “wear kaftan in Abuja”? Hypocrisy is not good. One must be principled.
Mr. Kowiu Oloyede, 25, was found to have circulated a video containing false claims of banditry and kidnapping. Investigation revealed that the allegations were entirely false and were allegedly made to gain attention and boost his social media following. Before posting the video, he reportedly had about 60 followers; after the video went viral, his follower count surged to over 1,000. He has since been charged to court for the offence.
The pursuit of social media fame is never worth the consequences of spreading false information. A temporary increase in followers is no substitute for one’s reputation, credibility, or freedom. It is hoped that this serves as a clear lesson to all that misinformation has real consequences, and those who deliberately mislead the public will be held accountable under the law.
I grew up in Plateau State.
As a young kid, one thing I knew was to be careful when throwing stones to chase cows away from our farms, because hurting a cow could lead to murder by Fulanis.
This was in the 80s.
Fulani violence did not just start under GEJ.
You guys are dishonest bunch, RUGA was a bad idea, is a bad idea and will always be a bad idea. Federal government seizing states land for cattle settlement is a very dangerous idea. Even northern governors were against it, if you argue this, ask yourself why no Northern governor implemented the idea.
I’m into commercial farming, I don’t go to people’s land and start cultivating without paying for the lease or buying outrightly from land owners. If cattle herders need land for their livestocks, they should buy land or lease it.
RANCHING is the only sustainable solution for this problem, if the Gov is worried about capital needed for ranching, then the federal
Government must provide lands for RANCH and subsidies it for herders.
Nobody will give their land for some RUGA settlement
