One of my most toxic traits is how much I dislike greeting time during church. It never feels genuine. Do it after the first song so those of us that don't like it can avoid it by lingering in the foyer.

Why?

Because until we see Sin as failure to love, we will be tempted to reduce spiritual formation to rule-keeping & sin-avoidance.

It’s easy to work hard avoiding sin and still be deeply trapped in it.
