The Ifakara Health Institute and the African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA) Youth Advisory Council have teamed up to launch a Malaria Innovation Essay Competition for African youth aged 18-35 who are passionate about fighting against malaria. The competition aims to encourage young individuals to develop innovative ideas and solutions to tackle one of Africa's most pressing public health issues. Through this competition, we hope to inspire and cultivate a new generation of leaders committed to eradicating malaria in Africa. The competition is open to youth from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines, and winners will receive cash prizes and have their essays published in various platforms.
