Let's talk bout this for a min.......

Forgive me, I don't share your senitment on this one.

While Rashid is nice & w/o him we don't win the Super Bowl,He obviously earned his money & he's deserving of what he was paid BUT, we gotta be wise and let someone else be the one to pay him.. Basically I'm saying this seems more like a "want" than a "need".

I highly respect John & Mike, so I'm sure they weighed out the dangers of spending to much on the WR room, I'm sure of it...Right????

This data that I uncovered tells a completely different story

I'm sure of it.
Ya know like these stats below....

2025 Salary spent on WRs:
Bengals 57.5M/yr
Buccs 50M/yr
Cowboys 51.5M/yr (mainly CeeDee)
Lions 58M/yr
Titans 47M/yr
Ravens 46M/yr
Dolphins 40M/yr
Vikings 39M/yr

What do all of these teams have in common????
They ALL missed the playoffs.

Only 1 play off team spent more than 34M/yr in their WR room and that's the Eagles lol

But it gets even better lol because Seattle just did the same thing that the Eagles did lol

In 2024, the Eagles won the Super Bowl w/ Devonta Smith still on his rookie contract. Earlier that year they gave him a 3 yr 75M while already paying Aj Brown 32M/yr. After winning the SB, they tied up 57M in 2 WRs lol. That following year they get a 1st round exit in San Fran.

Nevermind the fact that they won the Super Bowl on the back of having an excellent offensive line and an insane pass rush.

The game is won in the trenches on both sides of the football.
To add, the games when Shaheed had to bail us out w/ one of his kick returns, was because our line was getting dog walked and Darnold was seeing ghost again lol so we couldn't move the football.

If you want a good WR, you better trust in your scouting
report, trust in your ability to draft, & be prepared trade a rising star.

I contribute this to his lack of touches.
What's even worse is how we take him out at the goal line and put in Charbonnet as if K9 ain't qualified to punch it in.
