yeah extremely important, particularly as we write about past events and movements, these stories remain crucial in how we frame our narratives. but the collection and how it’s structured, what is added and what’s missing will definitely expose the politics of it, (good point!)
Unrelated, maybe. But, yeah. What kind of politics (if at all) underpins the anthologization of literature? Does it run the risk of flattening specificity and distinctions inherent to literature by ascribing uniformity of a place and identity to it
Those of us who teach reading & writing should not be teaching students how to 'game the system' by encouraging (or even allowing) AI use in our classes; we should be teaching them how to actually use their brains; we should be teaching knowledge production, not slop production.
really enjoyed watching Berlin and The Lady with an Ermine. pedro alonso is amazing. True there’s thrill and entertainment and suspense and heartbreaks, but the depth and the complexity of the love stories woven into the series (incl the jewels of Paris season) cannot be ignored.
Who remembers him? 🔥
Berlin is back… and this time he’s stealing a Da Vinci 👀

Dear Kashmiri literature enthusiasts, I am so honoured to present the complete narration of Maqbool Shah Kralwari’s “Gulrez” with an introduction by Maharaj Krishen Raina. The narration is presented in 12 parts with a total runtime of around 1 : 20 hrs.

when we think about the happiest moment of our lives, we're acknowledging that it's already in the past; it will never come back. therefore, it is also painful. the only way to bear this pain is to hold onto something that belongs to that golden moment.

I introduced The Prohibition of Manual Scavenging and Protection of Sanitation Workers (ICT) Bill, 2026 to end manual scavenging, ensure safe working conditions, provide legal protection, mandate mechanised cleaning, and establish accountability for employers and authorities. This bill recognises sanitation workers as rights-holders not expendable labour and affirms their right to dignity, safety, and life.
